Hello! I’m Sara.

(they/she)

Mental Health Therapist

I’m a mental health therapist based in Washington.

Helping folks learn to love themselves — especially neurodivergent and queer folks — is very dear to my heart.

As a queer ADHDer, I’m familiar with how challenging it can be to navigate a world where your way of processing, functioning, and expressing is not “the norm.”

It’s especially hard to function when you’re feeling constantly exhausted, never good enough, or unsure of what you really want in life. Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be this hard.

With self-exploration and self-compassion, we can help you nurture your strengths and develop the skills to support your unique way of being.

If you’re ready to make peace with your existence while also making some helpful life changes, let’s get started.

Here’s How Self-Compassion Can Help:

Burnout

  • Learn how to set and recognize your limits so that you don’t push yourself over the edge

  • Practice self-soothing with more intention and effectiveness

People-pleasing

  • Identify your needs and values, then practice taking actions that align with both

  • Set and maintain boundaries to avoid betraying yourself for the sake of others

Perfectionism

  • Practice self-acceptance by acknowledging that your self-worth is not defined by your performance

  • Practice intentional flexibility by doing things “good enough” and praising yourself for doing so

The relationship you have with yourself is the longest relationship you will ever have in your life.

When we're critical or cruel to ourselves, it only makes navigating life even harder.

Thankfully, we have the power to choose how we treat ourselves. Through practice, we can build a stronger, safer, and more supportive relationship to ourselves - infusing our lives with greater confidence and clarity.

My mission is to help people find this inner peace by embracing their self-worth and offering themselves the unconditional love they deserve. I’d love to help you, too.
