Healing starts with believing in yourself.
Hi, I’m Sara (she/they).
I’m a therapist who wants to help you trust yourself and release the burdens you carry from shame, trauma, and criticism.
I want you to feel loved, appreciated, and supported unconditionally. By providing a space for you to practice awareness and positive self-regard, we’ll start to unpack the burdens weighing on you, being gentle and accommodating every step along the way.
Bit by bit, we can help you travel forward with greater clarity and ease, so that you can live a life that you feel aligns with your capacity and values.
The main modalities we’ll use include:
Feeling ready to start?
Here’s what you can expect:
-
During our connection call, we’ll both explore if we're the right fit to do this work together.
I’ll ask you the following questions:
What brings you to therapy?
What are you looking to gain from this experience? How are you looking to be supported?
What’s been your experience with therapy, particularly with Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy?
What are you looking to learn about yourself through this experience?
How have you been caring for yourself in the midst of this current season of challenges?
I highly encourage you to ask any and all questions you would like, or to send them my way via email.

Especially in our first few sessions, our guiding intention will be to simply notice, name, and “map-out” the major parts of your internal system. Through this process of learning and bearing witness, we’ll develop greater trust among your parts, so that we can start to dig deeper as time goes on.
By gently acknowledging the characteristics, strengths, and values of your internal parts, we’ll be able to better understand how they may wish to be supported by us both in this space.
-
As you engage in deeper vulnerability with your parts, you will experience shifts.
Sometimes, things may feel more tender before they become more steady—especially if parts have been burdened by major traumatic events, shame, and harmful dynamics for so long.
This is a natural part of the process.
We’ll gently move through the discomfort together, helping you and your parts build a healing relationship with your Self, who is always present and more than capable of viewing your parts through a lens of compassion, confidence, and curiosity.
