Hi, I’m Sara (they/she).
I’m on a mission to make the world a kinder place.
One way I’m doing this is by helping folks improve the relationships they have with themselves. Why?
Well, because how we view and treat ourselves directly impacts how we show up in the world. The more occupied we are with criticizing ourselves, hiding away from others, or isolating out of shame, the less capacity we have for being present and building connections.
The truth is, we all deserve to feel safe, accepted, and appreciated. And much of this work begins with feeling that within ourselves. Because while I believe that you are amazing — even without knowing you yet — you won’t be able to truly feel that until you allow yourself to.
I understand how hard it is to work with negative beliefs about ourselves. As a queer, neurodivergent adult surrounded by messages of ableism and anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, I get it.
So, it’s a personal mission of mine to work with neurodivergent adults of all genders and sexual identities to unlearn their shame, process their trauma, and build more fulfilling lives that match their values and their capacities.
I’ll meet you where you are with unconditional support. As we strengthen your relationship with yourself, we’ll forge a path forward that truly reflects your needs, your values, and your unique way of being in this world.
Together, we can help you shed your shame and strengthen the unconditional care you already hold for yourself.
This is a collaborative process — where you are the leader while I offer support, guidance, and tools to help you move forward.
I ask thoughtful questions, offer reflections and context, and encourage self-compassion along the way. Our work isn’t just about what happens in sessions but about deepening the way you see and understand yourself beyond them.
I believe the most meaningful shifts happen when you turn inward, and I’ll be here to help you do that with care and curiosity.
Sometimes that means holding space for whatever needs to be expressed; other times, it’s problem-solving or gently revisiting the past at a pace that feels right for you.
Through the trust we build, you’ll get to experience what it’s like to receive unconditional support—one that honors your humanity, your agency, and all of who you are.
My Positionality & Values
Positionality (n): where one is located in relation to their various social identities (gender, race, class, ethnicity, ability, geographical location, etc.)
As a non-binary, queer, neurodiverse person of color and a settler of color on unceded lands, my practice is deeply shaped by lived experience, grassroots organizing, and a commitment to anti-oppressive and decolonial ways of being. I bring to my work both an academic understanding of systemic oppression—its histories, its patterns, its entrenchment across centuries and regions—and the knowledge that comes from collective movements resisting those forces.
I believe that therapy must never place the burden of systemic harm on the individual.
The struggles we navigate are not just personal—they are shaped by the structures we exist within. In our work, we’ll contextualize your experiences on a larger scale, to ensure that you best understand what is truly within your control, and what must be grieved or accepted as being outside of it.
Therefore, we can hold accountability for the ways in which we harm one another AND we must hold accountable the systems that perpetuate this harm on a disproportionate scale.
In our work together, we will honor your experiences, validate your truths, and create space for both healing and resistance.
Therapy with me is about finding peace, grace, and love within yourself while recognizing that the world often encourages the opposite.
It is about learning to hold self-compassion in a world that demands self-doubt, about reclaiming your right to take up space, and about building the tools to move through life with greater ease and authenticity for the betterment of all.
You are the leader in this process, and I welcome your feedback, your voice, and your full self in our work together.
