I do take insurance and can accept the following:

Shelterwood Collective provides my practice with the opportunity to check and process insurance benefits on behalf of my clients. This comes at no additional cost or any additional steps for clients.
Still, if you would like to learn more about your own insurance benefits, here are some questions to ask when calling your insurance company:
What are my mental health benefits?
Does a deductible apply?
(If yes) How much is my deductible?
What is my copay (or coinsurance)?
Does my plan have any special coverage for telehealth office visits?
Who processes benefits for claims submitted in Washington state?
My therapist is a member of a group practice, Shelterwood Collective. Their tax # is 47-4860247 and their NPI-2 is 1538663604. Can you confirm that this group is in network with my plan?

Since this time is reserved for you, it becomes your financial responsibility as part of our mutual agreement to work together. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify me by email, text, or phone at least 48 hours in advance.
If you miss an appointment or cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be charged the full session fee. If we are able to reschedule the session within the same business week, the late cancellation fee will be applied to that session and no other charge will be made.
If more sessions need to be missed due to travel, health, or schedule changes, we’ll discuss how we can accommodate both our schedules.

I cannot provide treatment for addictions, food challenges, personality disorders, or psychosis. I also cannot support folks actively navigating interpersonal violence (sometimes referred to as “domestic violence”) or active self-harm.
Folks looking for support in these areas are strongly encouraged to find a specialized therapist for such.
If we find something in our work together that I don’t feel well-equipped to support you with, several steps will be taken:
I’ll first let you know about my limitations in knowledge and experience, and ask to hear your thoughts and feelings in response.
Then, I’ll consult with my supervisor to receive guidance on how to best move forward. If it’s determined that additional support is needed, you and I will discuss what you feel are the most viable options, whether that is adding supplemental care (i.e. by finding a specialist while we continue working together) or by having you transition into another therapy practice.
If you are transitioning into another practice, I’ll do my best to help with finding referrals. I want to support you getting the care you deserve with a trained therapist in that subject.
